The U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) is the world’s and Charlotte's premier outdoor recreation and environmental education center. Alongside mountain-biking and running trails, a climbing center, and challenge course, the park’s unique feature is a multiple-channel, customized whitewater river for rafting and canoe/kayak enthusiasts of all abilities.

Only 10 minutes from downtown Charlotte, we provide our 300+ acre facility sits along the scenic Catawba River. Olympic-caliber athletes, weekend warriors and casual observers share this world-class sports and training center

AllSport Pass

The AllSport Pass is the most popular way to spend the day at the USNWC. Get all day unlimited access to all of the following activities: Whitewater Rafting, Ropes Courses, Rock Climbing, Zip-lines, Mega Jump, Mountain Biking, Flatwater Kayaking, Whitewater Kayking, Stand-Up Paddle Boarding and Eco Trekking. Come spend the day with your family and friends at the USNWC and experience the best way to play outside.  The AllSport Pass is also available as a Season Pass. 

The Canopy Tour

The Canopy Tour is the newest way to experience the USNWC and rediscover the outdoors. The Canopy Tour is a 3-4 hour guided excursion through the wooded tree canopy along the Catawba River. Participants will travel through 14 tree platforms as they experience 7 different zip-lines, cargo net climbs, rappel stations, sky bridges and other aerial elements.

As you go from platform to platform, you will experience some of the most spectacular views the region has to offer. You will zip along the banks of the Catawba River, fly through the forested rim of the south ridge gorge, and take in the most scenic portions of the Historic Tuckaseegee Ford and Trail. Come spend some time in the treetops and see for yourself.
