Benvenuti

Our namesake is a coastal town in the Campania region of Southern Italy known for its fishing, fine restaurants, and beautiful scenery. As a teenager growing up in Napoli I couldn’t wait for summertime when my friends and I would drive rugged, winding cliff road to Amalfi every weekend. We loved to swim in the sparkling blue-green waters of the Mediterrean Sea and mingle with tourists from around the world.

One of the many reasons we went to Amalfi was to eat at a trattoria called Il Paradiso. It’s delicious food, its breathtaking view of the coast, and its family oriented atmosphere was “PARADISE TO ME.” The owners treated us as family. As a young woman, I moved to New York and raised a family of my own, but I never lost the passion for food and warm hospitality that I grew up with in Italy. When my children were grown my husband and I moved to Charlotte. Shortly thereafter my daughter Linda, her husband Evan, my son Michael, husband Mike and I opened our own trattoria. Our goal is to treat your family as well as I was treated at Il Paradiso.

We specialize in fresh pasta with handmade sauces, New York style pizza and homemade desserts. Bread made on premises daily.
