This Charlotte restuarant, the Little Dooey Barbeque & Blues™, adds a new twist to the traditional barbecue recipes born in eastern Mississippi at the original The Little Dooey™ restaurant.

Since 1985, The Little Dooey™ has earned national acclaim by featuring the family recipes and barbecue sauces of Barry and Margaret Ann Wood. Their signature hot and mild barbecue sauces and slow-cooked dishes have been featured on The Food Network, as well as in The Wall Street Journal and Southern Living Magazine. Today, these award-winning recipes and sauces are the foundation for The Little Dooey Barbeque & Blues™ restaurant.

The food at The Little Dooey Barbeque & Blues™ is authentic and deliciously true to the unique menu established in Starkville, Mississippi, and presents an extensive selection of appetizers, entrees, salads, and sandwiches featuring pork barbecue, beef brisket, ribs, catfish and chicken. Creative side dishes and delicious desserts round out the selection and compliment each meal.
